    Exercice 2

Voici maintenant un texte loufoque (généré par l'IA) à lire à haute voix pour s'entraîner à identifier et lire correctement les mots qui ont des lettres muettes.

    1ère lecture

It was a subtle Wednesday morning when I found myself climbing up the hill to visit my friend, the gnome. He was preparing a feast of champagne and lasagna.

"Come in, come in!" he said, "We've been waiting for an hour. Honestly, I thought you got lost in a sandwhich or something."

I laughed, "No, just took me half an hour to find my yoghurt. You know how it is."

As we sat down, I noticed his school project on the table. "What's this?" I asked, pointing to a pair of knitting needles and a knife.

"Oh, just some knuckles I'm knitting for my knife collection," he replied. "You should have known, I always knock before starting a new hobby."

By the time we finished talking about autumn and the best way to cook salmon, I was knackered. I decided to take a nap in the cupboard, but not before checking my receipt for the scissors I bought last week.

"Don't forget the buffet starts at noon," the gnome reminded me. "And make sure to wrap up warm, it's chilly outside."
